There are a lot off issues that can be resolved by the casual computer user. A large number of issues can be resolved simply by rebooting or restarting your computer. Go the "Start" buttom of the system tray (usually the lower left hand corner). Click "Turn Off Computer"  then click "Restart". Let your computer cycle off then back on. If your system is locked or frozen, give the computer a good 5 minutes to try and resolve itself. After 5 minutes, if your system is still locked up, find the power buttom on the box (not the monitor) and hold it in for 5-7 seconds or until the system shuts off. Then wait 10-15 seconds and push the power button again. It's likely you will have lost what you were working on when the system froze, but your choices are limited in this situation.

We will endeavor to list as many support remedies as we feel a casual user can accomplish themselves with limited risk to themselves or their systems.
